In the juniors, Fla makes a mistake and loses in a comeback
The red-black team was winning 2-0, but allowed Fluminense to come back.
By Flamengo Archive - inIn the preliminary round of the senior match, Flamengo's youth team lost 3-2 to Fluminense in the first leg of the Rio de Janeiro State Championship final. The Flamengo youth team was leading 2-0, but allowed the Laranjeiras team to come back. The teams will face each other again next Sunday at the Maracanã stadium.
The first half was all red and black. Playing better, Flamengo gave Fluminense no chance. Renan scored the first, with a powerful shot from the edge of the box. In the 44th minute, the number 10 scored his second goal of the match, following a beautiful pass from Erick Flores.
At the end of the first half, Flamengo's defense faltered, and Alan scored for Fluminense.
Early in the second half, in the fourth minute, Sandro equalized with a header. Erick Flores nearly scored a stunning goal, dribbling past three players and the goalkeeper, but the ball capriciously hit the post.
At the end of the game, João Paulo took a perfect free kick and gave Fluminense the advantage in the final of the Campeonato Carioca.
