Flamengo's youth team defeated Madureira 3-2 this Tuesday afternoon at Conselheiro Galvão Stadium. With the victory, Flamengo reached 19 points in Group A and qualified for the Taça Rio semifinals with a round to spare.

The star of the match was striker Paulo Sérgio, who had a stellar performance and scored all three goals in the red-and-black victory. The striker is now the top scorer in the Campeonato Carioca de Juniores (Rio de Janeiro Junior Championship) with 13 goals.

In the next round, Flamengo faces Vasco, Sunday, at 15 pm, in São Januário.
