The Game
The match between Flamengo and Bangu started slowly. Both teams created few chances in the opening minutes. The first good opportunity came in the 17th minute. Márcio Araújo delivered a good pass to Canteros, who unleashed a powerful shot that threatened Bangu's goal. Bangu opened the scoring in the 26th minute. Flamengo increased the pace of the game and pressured their opponent until, ten minutes later, in the 46th minute, Ederson broke free and crossed the ball. Felipe Vizeu dribbled past the goalkeeper and finished with his left foot to equalize. Gabriel almost scored in the 40th minute when he received a pass from Pará and unleashed a powerful shot, but the defender threw himself in front of the ball. Before halftime, in the 45th minute, Pará received the ball behind the defense and passed to Thiago Santos, who persisted and managed to find the net to turn the score around.

The start of the second half saw good plays down the right flank of the attack. Thiago Santos and Canteros exploited the space given by the opposing team well. In the 14th minute, Chiquinho took a powerful shot from the edge of the area; the goalkeeper couldn't hold it, and Felipe Vizeu pounced on the rebound to score the third goal. Coach Muricy Ramalho took advantage of the good moment to give two more youth players their debuts. Ederson and Canteros were substituted by Lucas Paquetá and Ronaldo. In the 36th minute, Bangu had a chance to reduce the deficit with a penalty kick, but Alex made a great save to prevent Geraldo's goal. The home team gave their rivals no chances and, until the end, forced the goalkeeper to make several good saves.
