The CRFlamengo Football Department repudiates the campaign that attempts to portray Flamengo as benefiting from the refereeing decisions.

In yesterday's game, the main loser was, precisely, Flamengo.

There were five serious mistakes made against the team.

1. Assault suffered by athlete Airton. The Bangu player received only a yellow card when he should have been sent off.

2. Bangu's goal was marked as offside.

3. Bangu players invaded the penalty area during Obina's missed penalty. The penalty should have been retaken.

4. Everton's goal disallowed

5. Penalty on Ibson, who received a yellow card for complaining.

Flamengo's concern regarding the effects of this attempt to intimidate future referees in our games was conveyed today by me to the Ferj Refereeing President, Mr. Jorge Rabello.
