On July 2, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo made a concrete offer to Futebol Clube do Porto for the acquisition of athlete Ibson Barreto. The proposed amounts represent a significant effort for any Brazilian club and an unequivocal demonstration of our club's desire to keep the athlete on our roster.\ \ Unfortunately, Futebol Clube do Porto responded to us that the amount offered is not acceptable.\ \ In view of the official non-acceptance of the offer made by Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, issued by Futebol Clube do Porto on July 4, 2009, we take the liberty of informing that we are releasing athlete Ibson Barreto to Futebol Clube do Porto.\
