Clube de Regatas do Flamengo repudiates the irresponsible comments made by journalist Fabio Sormani on this afternoon's Fox Sports Rádio program, in which he alleged that Flamengo had hired Swiss lawyers to overturn the Swiss Federal Court's injunction that allowed athlete Paolo Guerrero to exercise his professional activities.

Regarding this incident, Flamengo is not and has never been a party to the proceedings before FIFA, CAS, and the Swiss Federal Court. Flamengo has never hired Swiss lawyers for any claim or intervention in the aforementioned proceedings. 

Statements like these are a disservice to Flamengo and good journalism.
