Official Note - Compensation to families

that have been developed by Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in order to speed up the process of paying compensation to the families of the athletes who were victims on the 8th, we would like to clarify that:
1) On the afternoon of this Wednesday (20/02) the mediation procedure was initiated at the Mediation Center of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, under the coordination of Judge Cesar Cury;
2) Tomorrow (Thursday), at 14 pm, the initial hearing will be held at the Court of Justice with the participation of family members of the 10 athletes who died and the 3 who were injured;
3) In this first formal meeting, the proposal is that families receive all the information about mediation, so that they can have a broad understanding of the process;
4) It is worth highlighting that mediation - in this format and conducted by the Court of Justice - is the fastest, fairest and most effective way to meet the needs of the families of the victims of the tragedy;
5) Clube de Regatas do Flamengo will continue to work to ensure that family members are compensated fairly and in the shortest possible time, minimizing the pain and suffering of families.
