Official Note - Measures against violence in stadiums and end of the corporate fan membership plan

By - in
Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, once again, after the incidents of last Wednesday (13.12), comes to the public to provide clarifications and communicate to its fans that:

- He was dismayed by all the incidents and deeply regrets the embarrassment and acts of violence that all fans and professionals present at Maracanã may have suffered;

Flamengo, as Brazil's most popular club, continues to work to prevent these incidents from happening again. Although some of the disruption was caused by fans without tickets, the Club decided to terminate its corporate membership plan, believing that affiliated organizations violated the Public Prosecutor's Office's Conduct Adjustment Agreement and the Terms of Service of its contract with the Club. It is worth noting that the tickets under this plan were never donated and were always sold at the prices advertised on our official channels. Regarding the alleged criminal activities of some of these organizations, Flamengo is fully available to assist in clarifying these issues.

- Finally, Flamengo acknowledges that since the resurgence of violence in stadiums, Rio de Janeiro State police authorities have acted to the best of their ability, despite having to contend with adverse circumstances. Flamengo, as always, is available to work with state security authorities to find a better way to address this situation.
