Serbian Dejan Petkovic, 38, will wake up this Thursday (23.09) in a way that has become traditional in his long football career, especially with the Flamengo shirt: as a hero. He came off the bench to decide the fate of the Gávea team in the match against Grêmio, Wednesday (22.09), at the Olímpico.

"The important thing is that the team played well. It's difficult to play at the Olímpico, Grêmio is a very good team, but we managed to at least draw. We scored two goals, didn't lose, and it was a good result," he said.

"We fought back. We wanted to win the game, but we managed to draw. We conceded a goal early in the second half, but we fought until the end, and that's very important. We fought for the entire 90 minutes, even into injury time. We had the will, determination and strength to get the result, and this draw was good," he concluded.
