Coach Ney Franco is a firm believer in the belief that players gain positions in training. Therefore, after observing the strong performance of some players in Friday's training session in Gávea, he decided to test new alternatives for the match against Goiás, this Sunday at 16 pm, at Serra Dourada.

According to Ney Franco, the team that will take the field will only be decided after Saturday morning's training session. However, he doesn't rule out taking the decision to Goiânia.

"We felt it was time to observe Irineu in defense and Léo Lima in midfield in the second half of training. They were indeed inspired players, doing a great job. These two questions remain for the game," said Ney Franco.

Irineu, who returned to training after recovering from muscle pain, entered the starting lineup in place of Moisés. Léo Lima replaced Léo Medeiros in the second half of the training session, forming a midfield with Claiton and Renato.
