Upon arriving at the George Helal Training Center, Flamengo fans fell in love with the immense vulture perched high above the new entrance portico, just behind the statue of the president that gives the Ninho its name. Thirty-two years ago, on August 30, 1984, during Helal's term, Flamengo acquired the land in Vargem Grande for 300 million cruzeiros, and under this administration, R$12 million was invested in the two buildings of the new professional soccer module. In addition to the guests, illustrious Flamengo fans, journalists, and digital influencers, the 1981 Mengão World Cup winners couldn't be missed at the party, marking the 35th anniversary of their victory.

Imposing and modern
The professional soccer module now boasts a world-class facility, including a hotel, auditorium, game room, library, leisure area, cafeteria, industrial kitchen, service and administration areas, locker rooms, press room, gym, medical department, water park, and physiotherapy, nutrition, and physiology rooms. Two fields at the training center were renovated, and with investment from Flamengo da Nação, a synthetic turf soccer field was built. This field was used at the end of this year's season to prepare for the match against Atlético-PR, which plays its games at the Arena da Baixada, which is equipped with synthetic turf.
Before arriving at the new buildings, everyone passed by the club's large flag, which was hoisted on a 55-meter-high pole. The flag alone weighs about 40 kilograms—the weight of the Red and Black.
At night, the training center becomes even more beautiful: the lighting adds a special charm to the facade, which boasts a huge Flamengo crest. With a performance by Flamengo actress Christine Fernandes, president Eduardo Bandeira de Mello and former president George Helal addressed the guests and celebrated the realization of a dream that had been in the works for more than three decades.
Afterwards, the athletes present, world champions in 1981, were called to the stage, with Zico lifting the trophy once again, which was available to the red-blacks for photos, next to the Toyota Cup and the Libertadores trophy from the same year.
Already getting used to their new work environment, current squad players Alex Muralha, Réver, and Juan attended the event and tested out the hotel rooms that will house them and their teammates during their training sessions.
