Announced yesterday as a new signing for Mais Querido for the next five seasons, striker Michael was introduced this Tuesday afternoon at Ninho do Urubu. And, in his first words as a Mengão player, Michael expressed gratitude.

"I appreciate everything you did. It wasn't easy, but it all worked out. Now I have to respond on the field and show that it was worth it," he said.

Then, the new number 19 of the red-black team praised the Most Beloved.

"The club's greatness was a factor. Any athlete wants to be here. I'm grateful. I intend to give my best. My biggest dream is to be a champion with Flamengo, and I'll give my all to achieve that," Michael concluded.
