Flamengo's big signing for the 2010 season, striker Vagner Love, is now fit to play, according to the Brazilian Football Confederation. The organization received a fax this Thursday from CSKA Moscow, the club that holds the player's transfer rights, authorizing Love's registration for the 2010 Rio de Janeiro State Championship. Therefore, the goalscorer, who completed preseason training with Palmeiras, where he was on loan, and is in top physical condition, can now make his debut on Saturday against Bangu, at 17 p.m., at Engenhão Stadium.

The match is part of the third round of the Campeonato Carioca - Flamengo won the first two and has a 100% record in the competition. If it's up to the striker, his debut is already guaranteed for next Saturday. A staunch Flamengo fan since childhood, Love can't wait to finally don the red-and-black jersey and score, celebrating those who now sit in the same spot he occupied in the stands just a few years ago.
