This is how love stories, great friendships, successful professional partnerships, or even the criteria for choosing something as boring as a dentist emerge. This is how idols are born—not just because of goals, spectacular plays, grit, or the ability to express themselves. Empathy—that's all.

Last Thursday, those who were at the Maracanã Stadium, those who watched on TV, and those who simply caught the highlights witnessed not only a heroic victory over Fluminense or the securing of three crucial points to alleviate a critical situation in the standings. They witnessed what could be the birth of a new idol.

In the Fla-Flu match, Maximiliano Biancuchi did much more than score a beautiful goal that earned us a much-needed victory. He celebrated with the fans, proudly displaying the jersey, without kissing the camera, without fawning over the coach, without flashing his jersey. As it should be.
