The striker hopes that the red-black fans will once again fill the Maracanã on Thursday, against Coritiba.
By Flamengo Archive - inOne of Flamengo's standout performers in yesterday's victory over Vasco, striker Obina was elated Monday afternoon at Gávea Stadium. For the number 18, a victory over a rival always restores confidence and morale.
"It lightened the mood after that loss to Atlético-MG. We know how important it is to win a derby. Now we're in the running again, and we don't have to worry about math. We just have to do our part on the field, thinking about each match individually. Our goal here is the title, and we're going to fight hard."
For Thursday's game against Coritiba at Maracanã, Obina hopes that the red-black fans will once again fill Maracanã.
"We hope the fans fill the Maracanã again. We know the loss to Atlético-MG was very difficult for the fans to take, but now is the time for unity. With the fans behind us, we will grow a lot. It's time to join forces."
