Despite being instrumental in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Sport at Ilha do Retiro, striker Obina doesn't feel he's guaranteed a starting spot. With Souza back from suspension, Obina leaves the responsibility of building the red-and-black attack in the hands of coach Caio Júnior.

"My pressure to play is in the right direction. I try to leave the coach with a doubt, but always respecting all my attacking teammates. I think I can play with Souza, as I did when I was at my best. I don't consider myself a starter yet. The coach is the one who decides; he knows what's best, and I'll always accept it. My time will come one day."

Obina said Tuesday that he's having the best time since his knee injury last year. The striker also hopes to end his reputation as a second-string player.

"When I injured my knee, I was at my best and was a starter. People didn't talk about that. I think this is the best time I've had since the injury. Sometimes people say I perform better coming on in the second half, but my energy is always the same."
