"Observer" Angelim expects Flamengo to be offensive with Silas

One of the most experienced players in Flamengo's squad, defender Ronaldo Angelim is already a seasoned soccer player, but he's always eager to learn more about the sport. That's why he enjoys watching the teams he'll face in the Brazilian Championship. He already knows how the new Flamengo coach sets up his teams.
In 2009, Angelim watched Silas's work at Avaí, which defeated Flamengo 3-0 at the Ressacada Stadium, and this year, he watched Grêmio play, reaching the Copa do Brasil semifinals and becoming the state champion. Therefore, he has a solid foundation for commenting on the new manager's playing style and is optimistic about the future.
"Silas is a coach who likes his teams to play forward. It's a good trait. We need to score goals and attack, and I'm sure he'll make that happen. But we also have to be careful at the back to get results. We've seen that his teams score a lot of goals, and I hope he has the same intention here at Flamengo to help us achieve victories," he said.
The defender remembers that Silas won't have much time to train the team at this time, but he believes that the coach will be able to adjust the team based on what he saw against Guarani and with conversation as his main weapon.
"He saw the game in Campinas, he doesn't have much time to train the team for the game against Cruzeiro, he spoke to us briefly and will try to adjust the team based on what he saw in the first match. I hope he does a great job leading Flamengo and takes us where we deserve, which is competing for a place in the Libertadores and even the title," he concluded.
