This Friday, coach Oswaldo de Oliveira gave a press conference after the first training session in his return to command Flamengo.

"I've had closer contact with the field, seeing some players participating, and I've confirmed what we get from the outside. They're good players who work well together. More important is a dedicated, motivated, and eager squad. The highlight is their dedication and desire to get things right."

"I have an idea, based on the last few games and the players we have available. Of course, in some positions, like Jorge and Jonas, who are out, I have some options for starting the team. At this point, I haven't decided on the entire team yet. We have 13 or 14 players to start the match." 

"I woke up today and was able to focus a little more on teamwork for the game. I was more aware of the reality of our match against São Paulo, a traditionally very tough opponent. It's a great derby, and debuting against a great team is very exciting. I'm looking forward to starting this new stage here at Flamengo." 

"São Paulo is a great team, and their losses are normal. Teams falter, especially because of the championship. That doesn't distract us from the opponent we'll face. They're opponents of great players, and they have a coach who implements his way of working, which we view with great respect. It's also a motivation for us. We need the win, and we'll do everything we can to win the match."
