On Saturday morning (21.11), the red-black squad had their last training session before the match against Ponte Preta, at the Brasiliense Training Center. After the activities, coach Oswaldo de Oliveira made a brief analysis of the opponent and said what he expects from Flamengo in this final stretch of the Brazilian Championship.

These are three games that Flamengo must approach with great seriousness. We need to score points, have at least a decent finish to the championship, one that lives up to the fans' expectations, and, of course, we need to think about what the group can take from this next season.
Ponte Preta
A team that has shown great potential. I followed them in the São Paulo state championship; they're a very good team, with good players, they renew themselves very well, they have a very interesting fundraising system in the interior of São Paulo, and that's why they always have good campaigns and are a very difficult team to beat.
Election approaching
I have nothing to do with it (politics). I have to do my job, looking at the field and doing what I have to do.
