After leading the professional team's activities in Gávea, this Saturday (26.09), the red-black coach Oswaldo de Oliveira spoke to the press. In the interview, he praised the work week and the fans, in addition to commenting on the match against Vasco, this Sunday, at 16 pm, at Maracanã.

We had a very good week, a very productive week of work. We tried to improve as much as possible with the seven training sessions we had this week, and I think that's enough for Flamengo to play a good match against Vasco.

It's always wonderful to have the fans there. As the game approaches, I find it interesting. It sharpens the players' concentration. 

Playing every Wednesday and Sunday, we've had little time for recovery. Ideally, we'd have team repetitions to foster teamwork, but in this regard, the rotation of the squad has helped us. It's clear from the type of substitutions we've been making. Most are physical, not tactical. The circumstances of the game and the competition dictate this.
