On the eve of the decisive clash for the Conmebol Libertadores, defender Pablo Marí spoke to the press at the hotel where the delegation is staying, in the city of Viamão, in Rio Grande do Sul. The Spaniard spoke about the expectations for the second game of the quarterfinals, against Internacional, this Wednesday (28), at 21:30 pm, at Beira Rio.
"Inter will be playing at home with their fans. It will be important for them, but we're calm, we know the atmosphere. We have to focus on playing a great game and only pay attention to what happens on the pitch," says the defender.
Pablo says the team is focused solely on qualifying and that the atmosphere of the competition is different.
"The atmosphere in both the Libertadores and the Brasileirão is very interesting. The Libertadores is an added bonus, something the fans really want to achieve. It's beautiful to watch and play, and we're going to fight hard for qualification tomorrow," he emphasizes.
Flamengo will hold its last training session this Tuesday afternoon (27) before the game against Internacional.
