Total focus! This sentence sums up the current state of the red-and-black squad. In an interview before training this morning at Ninho do Urubu, defender Pablo Marí discussed the team's current form and the team's current run of matches in the Brazilian Championship and the CONMEBOL Libertadores. 

"I'm lucky that the club and the squad have welcomed me so warmly. Since my debut against Botafogo, they've placed their trust in me, and I've gained some regularity on the field. Now is the most difficult phase. We have to keep working and preparing for these challenges," he says. 

Pablo spoke about his joy at playing for the red and black team. For the defender, coach Jorge Jesus and the club have changed his life. 

"It's different playing here. A year ago, I was in Spain's second division. Now I'm playing in a Copa Libertadores semifinal. It's the result of daily work, working hard and enjoying football. Playing for Flamengo has been wonderful and exciting," he says. 

Flamengo will face Atlético-MG this Thursday (10), at 20 pm, at Maracanã.
