The winning team will be the first Brazilian to become four-time champion of America.

On the morning of this Friday (28), the Flamengo squad held their last training session before the decision, at the Peruvian national team's training center. The good news is that defender Léo Ortiz participated normally in the activity and could be included in the squad for the match.

Flamengo and Palmeiras have faced each other 133 times in history. Flamengo has won 46 times, there have been 38 draws, and 49 losses. The teams are replaying the 2021 Libertadores final, when the São Paulo team prevailed in extra time, winning 2-1 at the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo.
