Having a great moment this year, Flamengo returns to the field this Thursday (10), but this time for the Copa do Brasil. The opponent this time is Ponte Preta, and in a press conference, Lucas Paquetá projected the duel that will take place at Maracanã.
"We know how difficult a knockout game is, we got a result in a match at their home ground. Now, with our fans in support, we'll go in focused to get a positive result."
The Flamengo youth player also made a point of praising the quality of the team and thanked the fans for their affection towards him.
"We are 11 on the field, our squad is talented, and we strive to deliver. I'm happy with the recognition from the fans, who admire my work and that of my teammates as well. I'm happy when the team is doing well. Now it's about keeping our feet on the ground and working to continue helping my teammates," said the number 11.
Still talking about his relationship with Flamengo fans, Paquetá praised the strength that comes from the stands of the stadiums where the beloved team plays.
"The fans are doing their part by supporting us a lot in the games. We always play with a full stadium and we will always try to get a positive result for them. We haven't won anything yet, but we're on the right track," he concluded.
