For Bruno, Fla is an outsider for the Brazilian title
"A good campaign isn't enough for us. We want the title," says the red-and-black number 1.
By Flamengo Archive - inOne of Flamengo's key players, goalkeeper Bruno, stated after yesterday's victory over Vasco da Gama that the red-and-black team is increasingly in the hunt for the Brazilian Championship title. Bruno guarantees that the entire squad is focused on one goal: a sixth championship.
"We have to stay focused. The Brazilian Championship is still open, and Flamengo is an outsider. We're having a good campaign, but it's not enough for us. We want the title, and we'll fight until the end. There are five clubs in the fight, and that shows how balanced this championship is. The team that's most focused and concentrated will take the title."
For Bruno, all the players in the squad know the importance of Thursday's match against Coritiba at Maracanã.
"It's another decision. We have to be alert to avoid surprises. Coritiba has already shown that they are a great team. All the players are aware of the importance of this match for the Club. It could decide our future in the competition."
