"We needed to play a good game like today, and now we're going to play a final again. It's been a long time since this happened in the state of Rio de Janeiro. We're ready to play these two games here and crown the fans. The two best teams have qualified, and it's a classic, so we're ready," commented Pará.

When asked if Botafogo's fatigue influenced the result, the full-back said he doesn't believe so. "We experienced this last year, we traveled practically the entire year and played at a high level in every game. We deserve congratulations for what we showed on the field and we're through to the final," the full-back stated.

With the key change, Flamengo now prepares for another challenge in the Conmebol Libertadores Bridgestone, when the Mais Querido faces Atlético-PR away from home. Pará assessed the upcoming match: "We'll focus on Wednesday's game, as we know it will be a tough match. We have everything we need to get there in Curitiba and put in a great performance. We need to be focused and concentrated to take this important step toward qualifying for the Libertadores."

The first game of the Campeonato Carioca final will be next Sunday (30), at 16 pm, against Fluminense. Before that, Mais Querido will go to Curitiba to face Atlético-PR at Arena da Baixada, Wednesday (26), at 21:45 pm
