Flamengo is in excellent form. With a six-match unbeaten streak in the Brazilian Championship, the red-and-black team left Arena Condá happy last Sunday (13.09), where they beat Chapecoense 3-1. One of the starters on the field, full-back Pará praised the positive away result and the strength of the squad, and assured that there will be no lack of determination until the final round.
"Playing in Chapecó isn't easy, everyone knows that. And even without some players available, we got things right and showed that the squad is strong. There's no vanity here, we're friends and, most importantly, we want the best for Flamengo. We sweat blood on the field and it will be that way until the end of the Brazilian Championship. Following the team's progress, Pará has also performed well on the field. The athlete thanked his teammates and the coaching staff for their trust and hopes to further develop his game.
"I'm feeling good, the group and the committee believe in me. On the pitch, I strive to do my best for the club. I have to keep my feet on the ground, because I know what I need to improve, but I also know how important I am to the team," he concluded.
