For Lomba, conceding goals "is just part of football".

Goalkeeper reacts calmly to the draw against Ceará and shows he's already thinking about the game against Atlético-PR.

One of the players most sought after by the press upon Flamengo's arrival, this Thursday (November 04.11th), at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, commented with his usual serenity and tranquility on the plays that led to Ceará's goals in the 2-2 draw at Castelão.

The goalkeeper took the comments about his poor performance in stride and, like his teammates, emphasized that football is a team sport. Therefore, everyone is responsible for wins, draws, and losses.

"I think that when the team wins, everyone wins. When it loses, everyone loses. I was upset about conceding those two goals, but that's just part of football," he said.

Lomba only lamented the fact that the team didn't return with three points from Fortaleza. But, with his head held high, he already showed that he was thinking about the weekend's match against Atlético Paranaense.

"We played a good match and could have come away with the victory. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. We will continue working to try and get the points we need," he concluded.

This Friday (November 05.11th), at 16 pm, Marcelo Lomba and the Flamengo squad will report back to a hotel in Barra da Tijuca, and from there they will travel to Volta Redonda, where they will face Athletico Paranaense on Sunday (November 07.11th).
