On Saturday afternoon (8), Flamengo took to the field to face Vasco, at Maracanã, in the second leg of the semifinal of the Campeonato Carioca, winning 2-1 and securing qualification for the grand final. Nuno Moreira opened the scoring for the opponent, but Bruno Henrique and Luiz Araújo scored for the Mais Querido and secured the victory. It's worth remembering that Flamengo could lose by up to one goal and still qualify. Now, Mengão awaits the winner of the match between Fluminense and Volta Redonda, who face each other this Sunday.

Flamengo dominated from the start and created the best chances. In the opening minutes, Bruno Henrique had one and Arrascaeta another. Soon after, another. This time, Varela failed to capitalize. Léo Jardim saved Vasco. The opponent capitalized and opened the scoring with Nuno Moreira.
