For Renato, the result in Campinas cannot be repeated
Supporter left Brinco de Ouro upset with the 2-1 comeback defeat to Guarani
By From the team at Flamengo's official website - inCampinas (SP) - The negative result against Guarani in Campinas this Sunday (August 29.08) left Flamengo's squad with one certainty: it can't happen again. The team was winning the game until just before the end. Goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba even saved a penalty kick. But in stoppage time, the Bugre managed a surprising comeback that left the entire Flamengo team very upset.
\One of the most experienced players in the group and most identified with the red-and-black fans, supporter Renato lamented the defeat, especially given the manner in which it occurred. According to him, Guarani's comeback should serve as a warning for the rest of the competition.
\"We had more possession. We worked the whole time for a positive result, but we lost the game in two minutes. That can't happen again," he analyzed.
\Still on the evening of this Sunday (29.08), the red-black delegation returns to Rio de Janeiro. The group returns to training on Monday (30.08), under the command of the new coach, Silas, and travels on Tuesday (31.08) to Minas, where they face Cruzeiro, at Mineirão, the following day.
