To plan ahead: check out the detailed schedule for the Brazilian Championship leading up to the World Cup

Find out about Flamengo's stadiums and match broadcasts before the World Cup break

The Brazilian Football Confederation released the detailed schedule for the 2018 Brazilian Championship on Friday, with matches up to the twelfth round, on June 13th, one day before the start of the World Cup in Russia. The competition will be suspended during the World Cup and will resume on July 06th with a third-round match (Santos vs. Vasco da Gama, at Pacaembu Stadium).

As previously announced, Flamengo will make its away debut. On Saturday, April 14th, Flamengo will face Vitória at Barradão Stadium, broadcast on Premiere. The following Saturday, it will be their turn to play at home against América-MG, a match scheduled for 04 p.m. on April 19st, at Ilha do Urubu.

World cup

Due to the World Cup in Russia, the Brazilian Championship will be suspended on June 14th, resuming only on July 06th. Flamengo's last game before the break will be against Palmeiras, away from home. The return match will be another derby against a São Paulo rival, this time São Paulo. 

The championship will conclude on December 02nd, and unlike the last edition, Flamengo will finish its journey at home, against Atlético-PR. Broadcast details, specific locations, and dates will be announced by the CBF in the coming days.
