Paraguayan referees Flamengo's debut in the Libertadores
Carlos Amarilla, referee of the game against Universidad Católica, will be at the 2010 World Cup

Paraguayan Carlos Amarilla will referee Flamengo's first Copa Libertadores match, against Chile's Catholic University (UC). His assistant referees will be Nicolás Yegros and Emigdio Ruiz Roa, also from Paraguay. The fourth official is Brazilian Marcelo Henrique.
Amarilla, 39, is one of six referees from the South American Football Confederation for the World Cup in South Africa in June of this year. He officiated at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and was the referee at the last two Copa Américas, both won by the Brazilian national team over Argentina.
Flamengo's debut in the competition will be on February 24th, at 02:21 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
