Part of the red-and-black squad returned to training this Monday morning at the Windsor Hotel in Barra da Tijuca. The players who missed the victory over Vasco joined players recovering from injuries, such as Rômulo and Renato Augusto, and did physical training in the hotel's gym.

Rômulo, who suffered a serious knee ligament injury, is almost ready to return to the field. He will have his first ball training session tomorrow at Gávea Stadium. Flamengo's new defender, Leonardo, is working hard on his fitness and is expected to make his debut next week. Toró, meanwhile, is expected to return to training this week.
