Paulo Victor receives support from his family in Londrina.
Mother, sister-in-law, and friends watched the Flamengo match on Sunday at the Estádio do Café.

Goalkeeper Paulo Victor had an extra boost in last Sunday's (January 09.01th) match against Londrina at the Estádio do Café. The Flamengo goalkeeper's family attended the team's first friendly of the season to support him. His mother, Dona Solange, his sister-in-law, Evelyn, and friends Bê and Willian Andreotti watched the game and afterwards went to the hotel where Flamengo is staying to talk to him.
Paulo started the match on the bench, but played the entire second half – earning applause from his family and the fans. In the 45 minutes he played, he made good saves and didn't concede any goals. Another good performance from the goalkeeper who started in the last game of 2010, against Santos.
"They arrived congratulating me. It was really cool. You can't measure the impact on a mother, a friend who's known you since you were little, seeing you as an idol. It's a great emotion," he said.
"Dear family," the Flamengo goalkeeper values the presence of loved ones during his most important moments. With the support of his family from an early age (his father, Vidotti, is a former player), PV is growing within Flamengo and in his professional career.
"It's always good to have family support. I always try to be close to my father and mother. She came here to support me. It's always important to have that support, because we leave home early, we start living an adult life while still young, so it's important to always have everyone close by," he added.
Since joining the main squad in mid-2007, Paulo Victor's resume includes two Rio de Janeiro state championships (2007 and 2009) and one Brazilian Championship, in addition to several achievements in youth categories, such as three state championships (2005 to 2007), two OPG (2006 and 2007) and the Cultura and Record Cups in 2005. In his four professional matches, he did not concede a goal.
