Pedro is Mengão's newest addition

22-year-old striker Pedro is the newest addition to the Mais Querido. He arrives on loan from Fiorentina (ITA) until the end of the year. It's worth noting that the center forward previously played for Mengão in the youth ranks.
"It's great to be back. I know the place well, the training center is a little different... I'm happy, I'm really looking forward to wearing this jersey again. I hope it's a great year for all of us," Pedro told FLA TV.
The player began his professional career with Fluminense and transferred to Fiorentina last season. He has also played for the Brazilian national team.
"I'm here to contribute, to score goals. I hope we can break records this year... Always looking to improve, always evolving," added the player, who will be presented this Friday at Ninho do Urubu.
Before Pedro, the following reinforcements were signed by Rubro-Negro for the 2020 season: Pedro Rocha, Gustavo Henrique, Michael and Thiago Maia.
