In the activity that took place on the morning of this Tuesday (10), Flamengo players did intense physical work on Field 2 of the George Helal Training Center. The training aimed to improve motor coordination, balance, strength and speed.

The first stage consisted of preparing the athletes at the CEP FLA, with warm-ups and muscle stretching for the next set of activities on the field. On the grass of Field 2, a strip was marked out where three stations were set up. The first focused on the athletes' balance, with exercises involving alternating body weight between the right and left legs, following a pre-established route. The second stage tested the players' reflexes and motor coordination, with exercises on reaction speed to commands given by the activity coordinator. The third station focused on the athletes' strength, using a tensioned rope for the workout.

Next, a course was set up parallel to the sideline. During this section, the athletes' speed was assessed to cover the marked circuit, passing all the obstacles. Afterwards, the athletes sprinted back and forth from the sideline to the center of the field.

Ball training will take place in the afternoon and will be closed to the press. Mais Querido's preparation is aimed at the match against Sport, next Saturday (14), the debut of the Mengão Brazilian Championship.
