In the Carioca junior championship, Fla beats Boavista 6-1

Flamengo's youth team thrashed Boavista 6-1 last night at the Maracanã stadium, securing their third consecutive victory in the Campeonato Carioca. With the result, Flamengo reached 12 points and maintained second place in the Taça Guanabara. Tigres remains the leader of the first round, beating Resende 2-1 and maintaining their 100% record, reaching 15 points.

In yesterday's match, the team led by Armênio Moura gave Boavista no chance. Guilherme Camacho (3), Lucas, Rafael Mazzei and Vinicius Paquetá scored the goals in the red-black victory.

In the next round, Flamengo's youngsters face Botafogo on Sunday at 13:45 p.m. at Maracanã. The match is part of the 7th round of the Campeonato Carioca. It's worth noting that the first round has been rescheduled for March 01st, against Friburguense, at Maracanã.
