"Our goal is to finish this part of the Brazilian Championship in the top four. We got a good result against Palmeiras and we know the importance of the victory against Goiás. It also gives us a little more peace of mind to work on this next month, which will be very important," he said.

The goalkeeper and captain of Flamengo believes that this break could be very positive for Flamengo and for coach Rogério Lourenço, who will have time to organize the team before the 'second half' of the championship.

"For Flamengo and all the teams in Brazil, this break will be very good. For us, especially, because Rogério will have a little more time to work and also to adapt the team to his philosophy. "Of course we're sad about Adriano's departure. We still have the Vagner Love issue, but his continued presence doesn't depend solely on him. It's clear that Flamengo needs reinforcements. There's always a lot of talk about offers mid-year, during the transfer window, but I haven't received anything concrete. If one does, I have people to take care of it. My focus is solely on Flamengo and competing in the Brazilian Championship. I have a long-term contract, I'm happy, I have a life project here, and I don't see any reason to leave," he concluded.
