Little red-blacks steal the show at Ninho
Children from Flamengo's under-11 and under-13 teams take advantage of training at the training center to meet their idols.
By From the official website team - inThe smiles with an autograph, the euphoria with a photo, and the looks of disbelief when shaking hands and hugging an idol. The expressions on the faces of the boys from Flamengo's under-11 and under-13 teams after training this Thursday (November 18.11) say it all. With the professional athletes as role models for the future, they enjoyed special moments they experienced at Ninho do Urubu.
Striker Renato, one of the kids' favorites, gave them a chance to kick a ball around on the training ground. From afar, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, good-naturedly, approved the idea but warned, "No messing around, okay?" Meanwhile, the boys were divided between the chance to play a little with their number 11 and collecting souvenirs of the other athletes.
Willians and Ronaldo Angelim, for example, gave their vests to two boys. Angelim, in fact, usually stays working out late on the training grounds. He did so surrounded by aspiring stars, listening to praise and questions from those who dream of one day scoring a title-winning goal for Flamengo.
Another player in high demand was right-back Leonardo Moura. Even while the captain was giving a press conference, the boys watched in awe, taking the opportunity to take photos and chat with reporters afterwards. For Leo, this kind of support is special.
"I know how much affection many children have for me, and I'm happy. I think we're people they look up to, so it's great to be able to make their dreams come true. Everyone's support is crucial," he said.
