Renato Abreu's return to Flamengo next Saturday (August 14.08) against Ceará will be a special moment for the player, the fans, and the club. The supporter, who quickly identified with the Red-Blacks during his first stint at Gávea, will be honored by the club's young fans, known as mascots, who will take to the field with the players at Maracanã.

The children will wear the traditional King Vulture mask, which Renato has worn in several of his goal celebrations while wearing a Flamengo jersey. Delighted with the tribute, the supporter thanked the fans for their recognition and affection and promised to do everything possible to repay their trust on the field.

"It's great to know that this came to fruition. I put the idea into practice to please the fans, and it was a success. I ended up earning this nickname, and I'm happy. Now it's time to work hard. I'll work hard so we can come away with the win in this match," said the number 11.

The player, who has already been regularized with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and will make his debut against Ceará, only regretted the fact that he could not use the mask in the celebrations, as this was prohibited by FIFA and asked the red-black fans to attend Maracanã for this re-debut.

"Unfortunately, I won't be able to wear it, will I? But I'm happy to hear about this tribute, as it's my debut in the Flamengo shirt. I hope the Maracanã is full, with the fans supporting us, so we can leave the field with another victory," he added.
