Three players are awaiting approval from the medical department and coaching staff to determine whether they will play against Botafogo in the Guanabara Cup semifinal this Wednesday at Maracanã. Foreigner Petkovic has already served his suspension and trained normally with the group. Although he is selected for the match, he still doesn't know whether he will start or be a substitute. Kleberson is experiencing thigh pain, and Willians is yet to return from injury.

Petkovic's case is purely a technical and tactical issue. The other midfielders' cases are medically related. However, it appears that both will be available to the coach. Willians confirmed he's feeling well, and Kleberson was only spared from the recent training sessions as a precaution, but will be re-evaluated in Tuesday's training session.
