Returning to training after returning from Porto Alegre, Flamengo returned to Ninho do Urubu on Monday afternoon (6) with news. Piris da Motta, the signing announced last week, was officially introduced and is already carrying out the first activity of the week. Wearing the number 25 shirt, the Paraguayan gave a press conference alongside the Vice-President of Football, Ricardo Lomba, and Carlos Noval, director of the department.

"First of all, I'd like to thank Flamengo for all the trust they've placed in me. I hope to repay that on the field. I've been very well received and I want to adapt quickly to the coach and the squad and be able to help in the three competitions we're competing in. My style of play is very spirited; I sacrifice myself for my teammates, the fans, and the club," said the player.

"There are a lot of Brazilians where I was born. I've always seen a lot of people wearing Flamengo jerseys, and this is the first time I've worn one. When I came here to play with San Lorenzo, I knew the stadium would be full, that they were a team with a lot of spirit," commented the midfielder.

Concluding the press conference, Piris sent a message to the nation. "I'll give everything on the field, I'll leave my soul behind. I'll play for my teammates and I'll always fight to win every match," he added.
