Ecuadorian striker Gonzalo Plata participated for the first time in the program “Resenha do Jogo”, on FlaTV, after Flamengo beat Juventude 4-2, last Saturday (26), with a goal from the player. The number 45 spoke a little about the match and already projected the decision of the Copa do Brasil against Atlético-MG, next Sunday (3). Check out some excerpts from the interview:

First goal at Maracanã
"I already have that peace of mind. I scored at the Maracanã with a packed stadium. It's a dream for me; it's a stadium with a lot of history, and scoring that goal is something I'll never forget."

About the match
"No game is easy. We're the best team here in Brazil, and every team playing at Maracanã or facing Flamengo performs very well. We're confident that with a full stadium, we'll play our best game, with the pressure of the fans pushing us to do better."

Final stretch of the season
"A win is always good for uniting the group. Saturday's game against Corinthians helped a lot. In a week, we have a very important match, but everything is step by step. On Wednesday, we have a game beforehand, and if we win, we'll be more motivated for the final. Each training session brings us closer together, the unity grows, we're always happy, and that helps a lot."
