According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Michel Assef, the club is not responsible for moving the match against América to the Engenhão Stadium. "The game was supposed to be at the Maracanã Stadium. At the request of the Military Police and the Federation, we had to change the venue. We don't have to take responsibility for anything. We've already asked our fans to remain calm. We won't do anything more than that. Flamengo will not accept responsibility or provide guarantees to anyone for any potential problems," Michel Assef stated.
