The 3-0 victory over Boavista at the Raulino stadium marks not only another Flamengo triumph, but also the day that Flamengo's third-most-capped goalkeeper began to bid farewell to his sport and his beloved club. 

Julio Cesar was hardly required to make a save in the match. In fact, his only save came in the 40th minute of the second half. Had it not been for the rain, his uniform would have been completely unsightly.
