After the remarks by the Flamengo board and coaching staff, everyone proceeded to the Flamengo Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA). Divided into five groups, the athletes underwent various clinical, physical, and physiological exams.

Opening the proceedings, physical therapists Mário Peixoto and Fred Manhães coordinated the FMS test, which aims to assess each athlete's functional movements. Next, physical preparation assistant Fábio Eiras performed the physiological tests, which were followed by an electrocardiogram performed by Dr. Luiz Claudio Baldi and Dr. Gustavo Caldeira.

Subsequently, Dr. Serafim Borges analyzed the athletes' clinical condition during the cardiology exam, concluding with an ophthalmological evaluation of the squad, performed by Dr. Marcus Chiganer. Finally, after completing the series of tests, the players proceeded to the field, where they performed light 15-minute jogs.

Meanwhile, on Field 4, coach Paulo César Carpegiani continued preparing the group that showed up on January 4th for their debut in the Campeonato Carioca. Sketching out the team that will take to the field in Wednesday's (17) match against Volta Redonda, more of the coach's work philosophy was put into practice during the tactical activity, which focused on positioning and movement and ended with set piece training.

This Sunday (14), these athletes will play a training match against Resende in the morning. The rest of the group will continue with the initial evaluations of the season, this time full time at Ninho do Urubu.
