For Flamengo captain Leonardo Moura, the time has come for the Red-Blacks to show their full potential in the Brazilian Championship. With the team on a four-game winless streak and receiving heavy criticism, a home match could make all the difference and boost the team's morale.

Therefore, Leo hopes the team lives up to its strength at Maracanã and, with the support of the fans, can return to winning ways next Saturday (August 14.08) against Ceará. But doing their homework isn't enough. For the full-back, it's also important to win away from Rio.

"It's over playing away from home and thinking about a draw. Every team comes here thinking about beating Flamengo. We always need to win, especially at Maracanã, where we're stronger. The fans haven't been showing up much, but we need to score points, because the Brazilian Championship is very tough," he said.

In the fight for better positions in the table, the red-black captain believes that his team can take advantage with the entries of Renato Abreu and Leandro Amaral.

"We've always talked and believed in his willpower to get in soon. We hope he can help us if he's selected. But, regardless of signings, we need to go out on the field valuing those who are here at Flamengo and the fans," he added.
