In training this Tuesday morning (18), Flamengo continued its preparation for the classic against Botafogo. The decisive match this Sunday (23), valid for the semifinal stage of the Campeonato Carioca, had its venue confirmed: Maracanã. The match will start rolling at 16 pm.

Starting the day's activities at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the Flamengo physical training department coordinated pre-workout exercises, including muscle activation and injury prevention exercises. The athletes then went to Field 4 for a warm-up. Immediately afterward, technical training began, focusing on passing accuracy, with triangulations and intense movement.
The training session was subsequently split into two sections. On one side of the pitch, Zé Ricardo led a tactical drill, which consisted of ball possession maintenance exercises under pressure, which included the participation of striker Éverton, still recovering. On the opposite side, the rest of the main squad, along with some of the Garotos do Ninho (Ninho Boys) from the U-20 team, trained on a reduced-size pitch. Collective and finishing activities concluded the day's training at the training center.

This Wednesday (19), Mais Querido will face the Ceres team, in a training match that will be held in the morning. The squad will remain at Ninho do Urubu to complete the activities in the afternoon.
