After socializing with her employees on International Women's Day, Flamengo president Patrícia Amorim informally received journalists in Gávea. When approached to discuss soccer-related issues, the Flamengo executive remained calm and never held back from answering questions.

"We'll resolve off-field matters calmly and peacefully. We have two important games, one in the Libertadores (against Caracas) and another against Vasco. These moments must have my attention and that of the fans. For Flamengo, the important thing is the results. Results are what have been coming. It was a great week, we beat Madureira and Resende, the basketball team had a fantastic victory with Marcelinho breaking a points record, the employees' salaries were paid, as were the soccer players'. And that's what I work for," said Patrícia Amorim.
Regarding the decision to allow striker Adriano to undertake specific training this week, the president of Flamengo made a point of making it clear how she will analyze the matter: in the open.
"Today I spoke with the football department and now I just need to speak with Adriano, which should happen between Tuesday and Wednesday. I want the team to travel to Venezuela with peace of mind. Then I'll sit down and talk to Adriano, face to face. That's how I like to work," explained the president of Flamengo, commenting on the latest developments.
