"I've seen their team play. It's easier to get to know the teams these days. The main concern, however, is our own team. That we have our best lineup, playing well, and that's what makes things easier for us. It's the opponent who has to change their style of play to try to stop Flamengo from playing," he said.
Flamengo is fifth in the standings, while Atlético is last. Despite this, the red-and-black coach doesn't consider his team the favorite. Quite the opposite. According to him, each match has its own story and is a kind of final in a points-based championship.
"We have to know that every game is difficult. This is a team that will be playing at home, under pressure, and we have to know how to take advantage of that. We need to take advantage of the fact that they're in this position. But the responsibility is the same in every game. We have to be alert," he added.
